What makes a good photo?
When it comes to taking a good photo, there are a few key things to keep in mind:
Getting close to your subject can often make for a more compelling photo.
Make sure to take the photo in a well-lit area, ideally without a filter and using natural lighting. This can help bring out the details in your subject and make the photo more vibrant.
If you're taking a photo of your pet, try to get down to their eye level. This can help capture their personality and emotions in the photo.
Focus on their eyes, head, and chest to get a good crop of your pet's face. For best results, your photo must be a high resolution photo - very clear!
What backgrounds can I have?
When it comes to selecting backgrounds for your portrait, the options vary depending on the style of the portrait.
For Pop Art style portraits, you have the option of selecting from 7 different background colours, including Green, Blue, Black, White, Pink, Oat, and Light Grey. **Please note that this option is only available for Pop Art / Cartoon style portraits.
For watercolour portraits, we typically choose the colours that will best complement your subject, and there is no option to choose the background colour.
For abstract line art portraits, the background is typically white.
If you have any specific preferences for the background of your portrait, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
Is this a real painting? 🎨
No. We have artists that take your photo and digitally craft it into a beautiful art piece. We use the same methods as we would in an art shop and we take them digitally.
Do you do other types of portraits besides pets? 🐾
We offer a range of portrait styles, including those for pets, couples, weddings, babies, cars and more. If it is not listed here please reach out to us with your request.💜
Can I see a preview before purchasing? 👀
For all portraits, we offer a maximum of two revisions per portrait, included in your purchase. This allows you to review the artwork and make any necessary changes to ensure that you're completely satisfied with the final product.
Please note that any revisions beyond the initial two will incur additional charges at a rate of $10.00 per revision. We understand that you want your portrait to be just right, and we're committed to working with you to make that happen.

What are the size options? 📏
We offer a range of Poster Sizes sizes for all our portraits being A4, A3, A2 & A1. Please refer to our "Selection of Size Option Image “ in our shop. If you have any questions or need assistance, please email us at pawtraits.aus@gmail.com
What print quality or format will my digital print come in?
Once your portrait is complete and you have approved the final version, you will receive a high-quality JPEG file of your portrait. This file can be used to print your portrait in a variety of sizes, or to share your portrait with friends and family online.

Your payment is for the time of our talented artists, who will create a unique and personalised portrait based on your specifications.
Once artwork has commenced, no refunds / returns are available.
We encourage you to carefully review your portrait before giving final approval to ensure that you're completely satisfied with the finished product.
Two revisions are included in your purchase. Any additional revisions will be charged at a fee of $10.00 per revision. We want you to be completely happy with your portrait, and we're committed to working with you to ensure that it meets your expectations.
**Please note that the colour of the printed results may vary slightly from the image on your screen or monitor.
Delivery times are subject to unforeseen delays with Sendle and Australia Post and Sendle. We offer free delivery within Australia, but delivery to overseas countries may attract an additional fee depending on the location. Please be advised that replacements are only offered for damaged goods in transit after proof of breakage or damage.
